On 26th February our Lifeskills group walked from the Booth Centre down to the People's History Museum.
The group were welcomed by the museum and taken on a tour of lots of the interesting exhibits, including a historic banner from the Homeless Action Campaign dating back to the 1940s.
The museum is dedicated to showcasing the history of democracy in Britain and this led to some great discussions and debates.
Thank you to the People's History Museum for supporting this activity, all our attendees really enjoyed it and are looking forward to a return visit in the future.
Our Lifeskills Programme supports people with experience of homelessness to engage in activities, learn new skills and meet new people.
