Greater Together Manchester has launched a brand new food project, as part of the Manchester Food Response being coordinated by Manchester City Council.
Responding to the huge increase in the numbers of people needing support with food due to the coronavirus, GTM staff and volunteers will be packing and delivering food to 30 households everyday, Monday to Friday.
Households can be referred via the Manchester Community Response Helpline.
The service can help people who are shielding, who are self-isolating, who are struggling financially because of the pandemic, or who would normally access a food support project that has had to close during lockdown.
