Oldham Social Justice Champions tidy up their community

Our Oldham Social Justice Champions recently joined forces with local residents and community organisations for a community litter pick, helping to make the neighbourhood cleaner, greener and more welcoming for everyone.

The event brought together people of all ages and backgrounds with a shared commitment to caring for their local area. Working side by side, volunteers collected bags of litter while building new connections and demonstrating the positive difference that can be made when communities come together.

Supported by Greater Together Manchester, our Social Justice Champions are passionate about putting faith into action and responding to the needs of their local communities. This litter pick is just one example of how they are helping to create places where people feel proud to live and where neighbours can support one another.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part. Together, we're showing that even small acts of kindness and community action can make a lasting impact.
