Refer a Lodger
Refugees at risk of rough sleeping can be referred to our Lodgings Scheme. They will then be assessed by one of our support worker for suitability for the programme.
This project is aimed at people who have low support needs - unfortunately we cannot accommodate people with alcohol or drug dependency issues.
The people we accept as lodgers must be willing to engage with us, and be willing to access education, training or employment.
We want our lodgers to have successful placements, and so careful consideration is given to the matching process. We aim to ensure that both landlords and lodgers are able to make an informed decision about the suitability of the placement - they both have the option to say "no" at any point during the matching process.
All prospective lodgers will have the opportunity to meet their landlord before they sign their Lodger Agreement and before a move-in date is agreed.
